My name's alanna and I am a university student studying psychology. I like spontaneity and am somewhat a hopeless romantic. I love to sing and I believe being confident and positive is the key to a successful and happy life.

don't you agree ?

well i know mine is

i love the ups

and i hate the downs.

but being an asian means more downs

than ups i guess.

what can i say?

i guess no freedom is normal

for us and following your parents

dream is what we were born to do.

but has anybody ? any asian parent, thought about

what us kids want to do ? or what we have to say about all this ?

i guess not. i mean, they always seem to be correct about everything

and therefore should never argue against their knowledge.

i totally respect the fact that parents just want

what's best for their children and i totally understand

that they don't want their children to be

making the same mistake as they did

but that does not mean that we cannot take chances or risks right?

i don't know.

maybe i'm just over thinking things

or maybe i'm on a low point in my business cycle right now.

i know australia's recovering from their recession.

i hope i can too.

life is a business cycle.

well i know mine is.

i guess i have to live with that
