INTERNATIONAL DAY |
okay, im taking an EXTRA quick break to write this because was an awesome day. :)so yes the title says it all. international day. :)
for those who dont know
its just like harmony day where we celebrate how multicultural our country is
and we had a range of cultural food stalls.
first period was boring
we learnt about some closing the gap aboriginal thing. which well we all knew about anyway. -.-
then had recess. the english cafe was paccckkked ! hahaha
and then we had the first concert where we heard talks from people about our ongoing project; hands across the ocean and some i-india project.
and we also had the parade of nations which was very colourful and pretty. :)
finally we had a japanese drums performances. it was pretty mad at first cuz we saw just how talented they were on the drums. but then they started to dragg and that got boring.
at last ! it was time for lunch. i had slovaki (idk how to spell it. -.-) but its greek for all those greeks out there.. hahaha i didnt have much time to eat because i was one of the performers for the next concert
so i had to quickly eat and then go get ready for the concert.
i couldnt wait; cuz i knew this was going to be the best part of the day.
we quickly got dressed. got sorted and sat in our positions. people pileed in and before long; the concert began. it was the best concert ever i would say. went by faster than i thought.
i was a little nervous get up there and dancing cuz well; i was scared i would stuff up or soemthing
but once i was up there, hearing every cheeer made everything all goood and i put in all the effort i had. and it was a HUUUGE SUCCESSS ! :D:D
all that hardwork; FINALLY paid off. i havent seen the pictures or videos from that dance but im hoping i will on sunday once i can get on facebook. :)
A LOT of people complimented us after the dance which was very comforting. :D
went tutor afterwards. it was alright.
anyway i better get back to work. assesments soon. :S:S:S

ps. that was my last international day ever so im glad it ended on a good note. :) i will never forget it. <3
