My name's alanna and I am a university student studying psychology. I like spontaneity and am somewhat a hopeless romantic. I love to sing and I believe being confident and positive is the key to a successful and happy life.

the formal last night was AMAZING !
despite the terrible rainy weather, it was awesome ! everyone was PRETTY and i will never forget this ! 
well i got my makeup done at david jones and then met up with linda and karen who came over to my place to get ready. did my hair got into our dresses, took a few pictures, taught karen some guitar chords, recorded a cover, did everything we could to pass the time, in hopes that the weather would get better. unfortunately it didnt, so we didnt meet up with cici, james and friends to take photos. instead, we trekked it all the way to the venue in a car, in the rain and in the horrifying traffic. -.- im glad we werent late ! :) got half lost around pyrmont cuz there were so many schools and we didnt know which one was us ! hahaha. finally found our school and ran into the shade where we saw our group, huddling inside the building. took a few pictures and decided that we needed to find where our ACTUAL venue was cuz we were just clumping in the shade somewhere. 
met some dude named ash that spelt and guesssed my name without me saying a word.. crazy right!? anyway, took pictures with everyoneee pretty much before it was time to take our seats and eaaat ! entree was delicious ! after that, we chillleeed went around again, took more photos, saw our teacherss, chated with them and took more photos ! it was great ! just when main was being served, linda , cici and i went to take photos with the professional photographers. it was so awkward, cuz they were telling us to keep changing our poses as they took photos, and like everyone was starring.. and yeah.. hahaha. it was fun !
afterwards, we chilleeeddd, took photos, had dessert which was nice ! and then the dance begaaan. the dancefloor was tinnyy so we were all squishing on the small space we hadd on the edge. ended up touching and grinding on random dudes behind us cuz we had no choice. hahaha. the songs they played were so olddd ! likeee.. those songs were played back in our yr 10 formal. hahaha. we got tired after a while so we decided to sit and dance in our seats instead. LOLOL ! took MORE photos. hahaha. and before we knew it, it was time to go. :( it finished so early which suckkked and when we went outside it was still raining so that wasnt good. -.- 
but yeah, overall, the night was FABULOUS ! and i'll misss bghs heaaaps. :( thanks to the teachers and formal committee for organising such an awesome night ! you guys rockkk. :)

today, had to wake up early in this glooommyy day to trekk it to campsie cuz my mum forgot to bring linda's and karen's stuff when she came to pick me up. sooo i had to carry 2 heavy bags with my umbrella in the rain to the station and back. it was horrible ! i stacked it down the stairs on the train. such an embaraasssing moment. and it felt like forever getting to campsie station. but i finally got there, chatted a bit and then left. and now im back home. safe, dry and warm. :) anyway, im gonna go watch da vinci code cuz i have nothing else to do.. HAHA
