My name's alanna and I am a university student studying psychology. I like spontaneity and am somewhat a hopeless romantic. I love to sing and I believe being confident and positive is the key to a successful and happy life.

another week down. which means im gonna be starting uni in a couple of days. i am dreading it a lot. :( holidays went by too far, felt like it was only yday when i felt so relieved that my exams were over. :S
so this week was pretty busy. tried to make the most of it i guess.
tuesday, went to watch the amazing spiderman with julz, david, rohan and rachel. then wanted to go noggi with them but unfortunately i had to go home with my sister. the movie was amazing though ! i loved it. although i wish there was more romance. :/
on wednesday i went to the uni to do some volunteering for the SleepingCAPS - Sleep Smart Campaign to promote sleep during oweek. it was kinda awkward going up to people and just talking about sleep but it was alright. ended up just chatting and chilling instead. 
thursday, was uni again, only we were there to attend an information session about ASPIRE, another volunteeer program i want to be part of where we either to go highschool or the come to us and we just promte uni and raise awareness to LSES kiddos. hopefully i get it. :S 
finally, friday was the busiest of them all. started the day off with arc street team training day. it was heaps fun meeting a group of other new people to the program that i'll be volunteering with. and we learnt about all the stuff that they're gonna do and had free pizza for lunch and drinks afterwards so i cant complain. :)
after that, i had to hurry home and get changed and ready for bruce's 18th later on.
met up with kelly in the city and went to have dinner. we walked up and down everywhere to find a restaurant cuz a lot of places had a long line. we finally decided to dine at zozo, korean restaurant. twas nice and filling. :)
then we slowly made our way to burdekin hotel, where we found out we were the first to arrive. even bruce wasnt here yet. so we chillled. and then they came and we went to the function room.
was kinda awkward to begin with because no one was here yet so the dancefloor was empty. bruce shouted kelly and i a drink which was really nice ! cheers bruce ! :D
about an hour or so in, it started to get packed and the dancefloor was finally going off ! at first it was fun, but then the music wasnt that great towards the end so yeah. and bruce was totally wasted ! grinding on EVERYONE and EVERYTHING ! the biggest suprise of the night was that melissa was there... WTFF!? out of ALL people.. MELISSA!? we were both SO SPEECHLESS IT WAS CRAZY ! but im glad she was there ! i havent seen her in agess, event though she was drunkkkkk. hehehe. 
it was nice seeing other friends there toooo. :)
too bad kelly and i had to leave at 12 cuz my rents were here to pick me up. but overall, alright party. :) 


weekends was so so. yesterday i drove heapssss so i guess thats good practice. i still have to learn to park though. :S im hopeless at that.
but today went to see ted with sam. it was hilariousssss. "THUNDER BUDDIES 4 LYF" <3
