My name's alanna and I am a university student studying psychology. I like spontaneity and am somewhat a hopeless romantic. I love to sing and I believe being confident and positive is the key to a successful and happy life.

Last thursday i went to my first ever formal/ball at uni! it was absolutely amazing. All the girls looked beautiful in their dresses and all the boys were oh so very dashing in their suits. I'm not gonna lie but i think the Arc Street Team was definitely the routy group of the night. But with that being said, we took up almost a quarter of the people there. It was so much fun, there was nice food, lots of dancing, heaps of photos and of course a bar tab, though all i got was a lemon lime bitter. I didnt feel like getting the asian flush that night. 

 Despite the thought that i had two assessments due the very next day, i definitely partied the night away. I was very surprised that i lasted in my crazy high heels the entire night. I was so ready to give them up the very moment i stepped into the venue but I thought, lets see how long i can stick with these and the next thing i know, i was dancing with them and having the best time ever. 

 It was great catching up with the street team, especially some who i havent seen at events in such a long time! And because ive been such an antisocial hermit these past couple of weeks with assignments and all, it was great to just get back out there and let loose.

 The journey back home was pretty dodgy. got to my bus stop in the city and not a single person was there. When people started to rock up, there was a random drunk dude and another old man who's arm was bleeding like crazy. that was quite scary. but i guess thats the usu. around 12.30-1am in the city.

 on my final note, i just wanted to add that the Arc Street Team has the best group of people ever and i love being in the company of each and every one of them!
